We’re excited to introduce a new feature here at The Bronx View. A gentleman known as Zod is a season ticket holder for the AAA Scranton/Wilkes/Barre Yankees. Zod has been nice enough over the last year or so to post updates from the games to the Google Group (link to the right).
Well, Zod is also nice enough to send those posts our way as well. This season, Zod will occasionally post in-game updates right here on our site for Scranton’s home games. So, if you’re interested in hearing about what’s happening in the minors from a first-hand point of view, now’s your chance.
We’re very grateful to Zod for helping us out like this. He’s going to post at his own pace, meaning it may not be every game or that frequent. The man does have a life and lots of friends in the Scranton area. Every bit he can provide is gravy.

We do not get any info on Scranton, I would like to know if Duncan is with the club and how he is doing. Do you think he will get called back up?

If you are referring to Shelley (we also have Eric) Duncan, yes he is here with SWB and is enjoying a good start. He is batting .308 wiith a .400 OBP and a .977 OPS over 6 games. SWB is 8-0 to start the season!
As far as getting called up, I don’t think so. He is not on the 40 man roster, so if they had a need, the Yanks would have to make a roster spot for him.
